BIM Solutions
TKC is an education and consulting studio, providing BIM software technology education to students and professionals in the architecture, design, engineering, and construction industries. We provide an interactive, collaborative learning environment where modern learning meets modern technology.
In addition to Revit Training services, we provide BIM software consulting and technology integration training to help establish a firm’s footing of the programs used within a company. We also assist corporate end users; we can bridge the gap between the technology design firms are utilizing and the systems end users are using the interpret integrated BIM data.
BIM Management
As the AEC industry embraces BIM technology, we can ease the struggle of transition as new software and workflows are evaluated and introduced. TKC can facilitate coordination and management of BIM production teams; meet with leadership to establish goals, strategize a plan of achievement, and communicate periodic progress; assist with users’ skill assessment and improvement; review and maintain content libraries and project templates; and provide email and in-person support.
Often, content and template creation fall within the BIM Manager’s project responsibilities. These services can be provided separately or included within a BIM Management fee proposal.
Content Creation
We have a deep understanding of how an entire BIM model gets pieced together because of our all-inclusive approach to Revit and direct interactions with end users of all experience levels and knowledge bases. TKC can create custom content: anywhere from client standard fixtures that have minimal scheduling needs, render-ready fixtures and material libraries, entire as-built models, and anything in between.
Template Creation
Best practices and solid project templates will ease an office’s integration of Revit. TKC can create custom templates suited to company-wide or project-specific requirements including file organization, custom content, and view standards.
BIM Consulting
TKC can offer a Revit Certified Professional to give software purchasing advice, help dispel Revit mythology, and advise in office integration of Revit, project template development, best practices, and can answer questions directly.
Rendering
TKC will work with floor plans, 3D modeled content, and materials to generate rendered views used to communicate design intent. We have experience with a variety of different rendering programs and styles, and can produce both still and video renderings depending on the client’s needs.
